The accommodations and service are exceptional, beginning with the transportation provided to and from the resorts by Chaza Travel, to the oversized ocean view rooms, the beautiful and relaxing pools and beach-front amenities, nightly entertainment/shows and the variety of restaurants/cuisines that will surely satisfy every guest. And it's all covered under one low "all-inclusive" rate. Traveling as a guest of a member, there are added benefits, including manicure, pedicure and massage for each guest. Additionally, many tours are included in the member package. We really enjoyed the Tulum / Xpu-ha tour and the Isla Mujeres island excursion. Additionally, when you stay at one resort, you have a "pass" to play at all resorts. The resorts offer free daily shuttle service between the properties so you can enjoy the variety of amenities and restaurants at all their locations. We found this particularly useful when we brought our kids last summer and they took advantage of the bus shuttle to the Cancun Palace Resort locations, which offer a little more city life, for those that want the added excitement. If you have any doubts about the resort, check out the Apple Vacations web site and you will see that it has Apple's highest ranking for "all-inclusive" vacation spots in Riviera Maya. Per your suggestion we went to the Isla Mujeres and Wet & Wild. Hot but good tours. One of our rooms had a Plasma TV, the others were like they were a year ago. It looks like they plan to upgrade all rooms with Plasma TV’s. The electrical plugs in the rooms look to have been moved up higher, where you might expect to see a Plasma TV. As anticipated we all ate and drank too much. At this time it’s difficult to think about next year, but all family members said it was the best all inclusive we have been to and they hoped Mom & Dad would take the family back again next year. My wife, two children and I had a wonderful time. The resort was clean and the service was absolutely fantastic. Our room was terrific. The double Jacuzzi was nice but I think the hammock on the balcony was the thing we enjoyed the most. The restaurants were good, but the Asian Restaurant was incredible. We went on four excursions. Tulum, my wife and I loved it. My two teenagers thought it was okay. The history was not all that big of a deal to them. I was fascinated. If you go to Tulum I encourage you to wear a swimsuit beneath your clothes to jump in the water because the beach is amazing. We also went to the water park. It is immaculate with some great slides. I would encourage anyone who wants to swim with the Dolphins to do it here. The stay was a bit long for teenagers who live in Arizona and have water parks everywhere but the park was pretty impressive. Isla Mujeres was interesting. The boat ride back was a lot of fun. I encourage anyone on this excursion to do some added activity (extra charge) while they are there...snorkel, take the island tour, drive a wave runner etc. These cost extra but the location they bring you to is no big deal for anyone who has been to Mexico before. They do a great job on the added tours. Be aware that if your child swims with the dolphins on this excursion, only one parent per child is allowed to go. This is not the case on any other dolphin swim. Our favorite excursion was the ‘Sail and Snorkel’. We went to a beautiful location and snorkeled around a cool reef. we saw sting rays and lots of colorful fish. The beach was very nice. We also rode ATVs and speed boats here. WOW! We had a blast. Dave, the only thing I did not like was that Chaza representatives occasionally had bad information, such as saying additional excursions required pre-registration and could be sold out. This is not remotely accurate. All of our excursions signed people up for added activities on the trip and no one was excluded. My wife and I had gone to Cancun before. This resort was much better than our last and we had a great time at the previous resort. Moon Palace is huge. It has many options for dining, great service, nice shows and a cool putt-putt course. The pool is great and the sandy beach is very nice. The ocean is really not good for swimming right now because there is too much sea weed; However, the pools make you forget about that. The service you provided was perfect and we had a great vacation. From the start I was more than a little concerned about buying this type of vacation from an individual online that I did not know. We were burned not long ago by a company going by the name of TRAVELCOM. They offered great packages at all the five star all inclusive resorts but when it came time to book they only had two star and lower available. So as we are standing in line to check in at the Moon Palace I was worried that the confirmation we had in our hand would be a hoax. As this is running through my head a man approaches and asks for our reservation. After asking if this is truly our reservation he pulls us out of line and leads us in another direction. (I'm in full panic mode now) Just before my stomach rolls over, the man hands us the reservation and informs us that the VIP and Members only check-in is up the escalator. Let the all inclusive begin..... Dos XXX's por favor! (Inform future travelers to go up the escalator.) The Moon Palace is everything advertised and then some. Originally we did not want to vacation at such a large resort fearing that the amount of people would impact the service provided and the quality of the product. To our surprise this was not an issue. The layout of the Moon Palace is such that you never feel like you are in a packed resort. As a matter of fact, we never waited in line for a restaurant or bar. They have an well trained and dedicated staff that is willing to go above and beyond to satisfy your every need. The trips included are excellent. We set up all of our trips the day after checking in. In all, we went to three of the Mayan ruins offered: Tulum, Ek Balam, and of course Chichen Itza light and sound. We did Tulum twice because of the beautiful beach. We also went to Isla Mujeres and wet and wild. All the trips use top of the line busses or boats for transportation and provide tour guides. We ran out of time to do all of the trips and we stayed 14 days. In all, we had a great time and are planning to use your service again. As you know, we had booked at the Aventura Spa Palace and we were very excited about our upcoming trip. Unfortunately hurricane Emily did some damage to the resort and we were forced to change our plans and re-book at the Moon Palace. Dave, you e-mailed me with the news about the Aventura Spa closure before I had even heard about Emily on the news. You also gave us advise on which resort to choose and re-booked for us immediately. Your service is absolutely marvelous. I did wonder if the Moon Palace was going to meet our expectations, you know how it is when you have your heart set on something. I certainly need not have worried. My husband and I are from England and we have traveled extensively in Europe and to many places around the world. I have to tell you that this vacation was a dream come true. The Moon Palace was on par with some of the finest resorts I have ever seen, and the service was absolutely wonderful. The staff at the Moon Palace were professional, friendly and gave service way beyond our expectations. I had read a few negative comments on the web about the beach not being that wonderful. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE? We live in southern California and the beach at the Moon Palace made our beaches look bad. The superior room at the Moon Palace was great, every day we took a picture of the towel art and the turn down service was a special added touch, we loved the in room spa and the enormous marble shower. The restaurants were fabulous, the food was great and there were more waiters than guests. Talk about being spoiled, and thanks Dave, for the information about the Myan coffee, we started a trend at the restaurants when we ordered. This whole experience was wonderful from beginning to end. All I can say to anyone contemplating booking a vacation is, if you are thinking about going to the Moon Palace and are not quite sure, BOOK IT, AND BOOK IT THROUGH DAVE. Everybody we met at the Moon Palace was raving about the resort and the service we all received. I met one couple who were on their honeymoon and had spent one week in the Bahamas and were spending the second week at the Moon Palace. They said they wished they had spent all of their honeymoon at the Moon Palace. We also had the added benefit of being your guests and we were offered many free tours. We spoke to a lot of people who were taking these tours and because they were not guests of members they were paying about $50 per person for these excursions. Admittedly we never did take advantage of the free tours, we were much too happy just taking it easy by the fabulous pool at the Moon Palace. Dave, I cannot say enough about how fabulous this vacation was, next year we want to return and plan on booking the Aventura Palace. We sincerely hope that we can use your services again. I thought walking within our side of the resort was not bad at all. The food and choices was good. The buffets were plentiful and the quality was quite acceptable. The oriental rest. was v. good overall. If you are into the drinking part, there were a lot of bars. Whether by the pool, or just anywhere you went. The pool was beautiful and huge. Oh...but before I forget. The service everywhere was great. You could not ask for more. People were genuine and enjoyed helping. We brought a couple of hundred in 1's and 5's and pretty much went through it all. I am sure many people didn’t tip, but really what’s another $100 over a week to most of us? What a great week we had, The weather could not have been better. Everyone's accommodations were close together and very near the beach and pool with great views. You may recall that my brother-in-law and cousin shared a presidential suite which we used a number of times for cocktails prior to going to dinner. Of course the suite is quite impressive, but at a place as nice as the Moon Palace my wife and I found that we wanted to soak up as much sun and pool time as possible. Perhaps the next time we go I'll move faster if you make us the same offer! Our group had a super time. The people there were super friendly and made all of us feel like royalty. Perhaps our best dinner was a result of going on the kitchen tour. After the tour we were given a private dinner and served chateaubriand with baked Alaska for dessert. My husband and I just returned and we had an absolutely fabulous time. In fact it was best time we had in Cancun so far. The hotel was beautiful and the service was impeccable. Our room was so large with a beautiful view of the ocean and pool. The food was delicious with so many choices. Although the hotel was full to capacity, it never felt crowded at all and we never had to wait to be seated for any meal. I also noticed that there was a high ratio of staff to guests which I am sure is one of the reasons why the hotel was run so well. Also the hotel was extremely clean, I didn't notice any area that was untidy or unclean. We also visited the Moon Palace to see that hotel. The only disappointment was that the Xpu-Ha Palace and Spa Palace were closed due to damage from Hurricane Emily, so we didn't get to see those two hotels.
