A Large Kitchen with among other more convenient household items: a full-size refrigerator rather then a tiny no-room dwarf fridge (or no fridge at all), Open counter space and cupboards, not to mention an open private, peaceful grassy backyard for beloved animals and kids. While this environment may not satisfy everyone for we understand some people prefer hotels, we find many friends and family end up with a HEADACHE rather than relaxation from their traveling stays and would much prefer a home-like environment, so that, my friends, is what we are attempting to supply. This new idea, one whose time seems to have come, (judging from the massive positive responses we continually receive). Brings to life Grandma's 1965 dream for her 1948 home, when her dream was first inspired by ads of overseas home exchanges among other teachers like herself. Hopefully this will not just be a success but also a tribute to the lady who inspired it. Last but not least, any and all kind and positive feedback would be greatly appreciated, as we would like to keep this going and supportive input and testimonials will help us in doing so. Additional Important Notes: Please understand you are renting a Lakewood California house, NOT the Taj Mahal. This house is extremely lovely but it is not perfect. The layout of the house, with help from windows, flavored colors such as the golden wood floors etc makes it feel spacious and open, But understand; It is the size of a typical quaint 1950's California bungalow (a.k.a. "salt box" (:>) as they were fondly known (:>).) The Approximate 900 Square feet that this house is, makes it MUCH, MUCH biggerthan you would find in any standard hotel room, and has many more features then a standard hotel room provides, BUT This is NOT a hotel room, and thus should not be compared to a hotel room. This is a HOME, and as such may have DIFFERENT features ( ...that are ever changing as we constantly work to improve it.) By making reservations here of any kind; you thus signify that you understand and accept the above statements.
